Leo Eisner is the founder and principal consultant at Eisner Safety Consultants. Leo is a licensed professional engineer in safety engineering, an expert in product safety for medical electrical devices (IEC 60601 series of standards), standards developer for IEC 60601 series standards, a Quality System auditor, a Notified Body Technical Expert for active medical devices and an expert in CE marking for the medical device EU Directives & Regulations. He routinely speaks/writes as an international expert on the IEC 60601 series.
Leo has helped countless clients thru the Product Safety, Regulatory, Quality Systems, and Standards Development maze over his career. He has over 30 years experience in product safety. Leo ran the Compliance Engineering Group at Karl Storz Imaging and was a Senior Product Safety engineer at TÜV Product Service. Leo has worked for three medical device Notified Bodies as an Auditor and Technical Expert.  Prior to TÜV Product Service Leo worked in a cross section of groups at U.L. for 9 years.
